Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 51

Today I had to wait on the frog man from Geico Insurance to write me a check to cover a fender bender that happened on News Years Day. A great way to start 2012. I was inside the Dollar Tree store searching for boxes to put my “First Aid Kit for the Winter” products, and while inside the store, I found out my car had been hit in the parking lot. Fortunately the man who hit my car didn’t run off like a coward.

Tomorrow I have to take the car into the body shop to be repaired, so that will be 2 or 3 days I won’t be able to hit the streets selling Ashley’s Back to Nature aromatherapy products. I’ll make some phone calls to prior customers and work on other business projects that have been nagging at me, like how to get people to http://www.ashleysbacktonature.com, but I’d much rather be out selling bringing in some cash flow. I’ve got to keep my momentum going.

I received an order today from my website and a big re-order over the telephone, so that made me cheerful. All I’ve got to do now is figure out how to get mega orders from my website and continue to get re-orders. I feel confident this will happen because of all the testimonials I receive and I know how amazing Ashley’s Back to Nature products work.

Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 46

Finally, after the long holidays I was able to get back out in the streets to sell my aromatherapy products that uplift the spirits. I acquired six new customers going door to door to businesses. I sell like the Avon Lady to people on an individual basis, except my products are freshly made and mostly natural and organic.

I sold two bottles of my newly created “Get Rid of Germs” spray with eucalyptus, tea tree and rosemary essential oils that disinfect, so that perked up my spirits. My oils were popular today, especially the “Breathe Easy” for stuffy noses and the “Pink Grapefruit Happy Perfume Oil.”  No alcohols in my perfumes, instead… sweet almond or jojoba oil, full of vitamins and anti-oxidants that nourish your skin along with my exquisite essential oils.

It’s always rewarding for me when I leave a place of business and my customers are happy and smiling because of their new purchases from the Aromatherapy Lady Calling. I truly believe essential oils have a mysterious way to pickup up your spirits without you even knowing what’s happening.

I know you’ll think I’m weird, but every single jar or bottle of aromatherapy products I make are like my little babies. I search for a good home to put them in where they will be loved and appreciated. You’re right, I am a little on the bizarre side, but this definitely beats working for ugly corporate America where they train you to lie, cheat and steal with a big fat smile on your face.

Smiles (the real kind) til my next post,

Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 42

Have a Fun and Safe New Years Eve!

My party was putting labels on my “Rosehip Face Serum” and “Peace & Tranquility Perfume Oil.” The labels gave me a hard time, but I kept going until they were perfect. I was delighted to be able to put an image of a rosehip seed flower on the top of my serum jar.  People like images  and will be more drawn to the serum because of the the pretty photo. Yee hii!

Whenever I set up at shows to sell my natural and organic aromatherapy skincare products, The first thing most people ask me about is the “KureAll Skin Balm” because of the golden color of the balm (photo above). When I tell them what all the balm does, a good majority of them buy. A 1/2 oz. jar  is only $5 and will last a long time. It’s great for so many skin disorders, especially itchy, chapped skin. It’s been a life saver for me. It will be a household name one day.

Today while I was talking with an ex-boyfriend of over 20 years ago, Michael, I made a big jar of “Healing Bath, Feet and Shower Salts” scented with peppermint and pine essential oils. The salts contain 84 trace minerals that take toxins from your skin, relax the nervous system, improve circulation, among other things while your laying in a tub of warm water. You can also soak your feet, helps bring down swelling or you can exfoliate dry, dead skin in the shower. The salts are very healing.

I searched from some nice boxes to put my aromatherapy “First Aid Kit for the Winter” that will greatly help with dry, itchy, chapped skin… found nothing. Will continue searching.

Need to get out and make some sales next week since this past week I didn’t hit the streets. A lot of businesses are closed until January 3rd. Instead of making money, I spent money on my laser printer that’s suppose to print labels that won’t smudge or smear. We’ll see.

Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 37

I will be so glad when everything gets back to semi-normal again and I can go out and sell my lovely aromatherapy products that nourish and heal.

After taking photos today of my First Aid Kit for the Winter, I put it on my website. When I go to view my website on Foxfire, everything is just how I designed the pages. When I view through internet explorer, it’s a disaster. The paypal buttons are on top of the text and everything is out of order. I looked a few minutes ago through internet explorer and my First Aid Kit wasn’t even showing yet and my product pages were still a jumbled mess. Yet when I veiw through Foxfire, walla, there is the First Aid Kit. Does anyone reading this blog have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? I called the folks I built my website through, they are clueless. They blamed it on the internet explorer because they didn’t want to be bothered. Their customer services skills are lacking.

Below is  the ad for my First Aid Kit for the Winter I designed today.

This 4 piece aromatherapy kit will make it much more comfortable for you to get through a long, cold winter.

Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 18

Today’s Wednesday and I haven’t made any money in the last few days,  so it’s time to hustle and bustle.  Going door to door selling doesn’t work well when it’s raining and overcast.  Maybe it’s me, but it seems people aren’t as friendly when the weather is overcast. I’m a sunshine girl myself.

To use my time productively, I’ve been searching the internet trying to figure out how to get traffic to this blog and to my website, http://www.ashleysbacktonature.com. Please feel free to comment if you have any helpful suggestions to this delima.

I’m also preparing myself  for a trunk show tomorrow at the Garden of Beadin’ Shop in Blairsville, GA. They sell Ashley’s Back to Nature products in their store so I need to promote the products by demonstrating how to use and educating them on the importance of using natural and organic skincare products. The best way to get potential customers interested is by letting them touch, feel and smell. Our skin is our largest organ, so it’s vital to put natural and organic products on your skin since the ingredients will be entering into your bloodstream when your pores open.

Tonight I’ll be watching “Revenge” about rich and demented people with my comfort foods.

Smiles and Sweet Dreams til Next Time,

Out in the Streets with Ashley’s Back to Nature Day 13

I’m dog tired right now, also grouchy and feeling yucky. I got up early and ventured out to the redneck village flea market to sell my aromatherapy products out in a field of slippery mud. I came close to falling smack on my face in the mud, not sure what kept me from falling…. maybe the redeeming mud angel.

One of the things they sell a lot of at this flea markets are rifles. It’s very frightening for me to know people can come to a flea market and leave with a rifle. I watch as some of these men pick-up rifles and aim to shoot. I even hear them shoot these rifles, although I’m sure they aren’t real bullets or this market would be shut down in a heart beat. I can only imagine what’s going on inside their heads, who are they imagining shooting, whether it be an animal or a loved one. Don’t we have enough violence in the world without making it so easy for God knows what to buy rifles so easily?

After walking around in the mud, watching men aim rifles and going number one in the outhouse and nearly throwing up by the sickening smell, I gave up early and came home to plenty of work waiting for me. When I arrived home, I stepped into a pile of dog crap and spread it into my room. That sent me over the edge. Thank God I don’t own a rifle.

Smiles and sweet dreams til next time,

Pamela – http://www.ashleysbacktonature.com
